Suggestions from Parents are Welcome
At Mahatma Gandhi International School (MGIS), we value and encourage suggestions from parents. Open communication ensures a collaborative approach to addressing the needs and challenges of students.
- Parents are welcome to call, write, or email the school authorities to share concerns about their ward or seek guidance.
- All communications will be addressed after the matter has been thoroughly discussed with the relevant staff members.
General Guidelines for Parents
To support a seamless and productive learning environment, parents are requested to follow these guidelines:
Monitoring and Homework
- Check the student’s handbook daily, sign it, and confirm that all homework is completed before sending your ward to school.
Daily Essentials
- Ensure that your ward carries the student’s handbook and ID card to school every day.
Personal Information
- Verify that the personal information entered in the student’s handbook is accurate.
- Ensure that a recent photograph of the student is affixed and the personal information sheets are duly signed by the parents.
Communication via Handbook
- Instruct your ward to bring to the teacher’s attention any entries made in the student’s handbook by either the parent or the school.
- Parents may use the handbook to make appropriate entries (e.g., requests for leave or important notes).
By adhering to these guidelines, parents can actively participate in their child's education and ensure a strong partnership between home and school.
